🎬 Copyright Strike & False Copyright Claim
If your YouTube video receives a copyright claim or copyright strike involving a ToonVexa asset, don’t panic. If you have legally purchased the asset and have a valid ToonVexa License Certificate and purchase record, these documents can help demonstrate that you have authorization to use the asset according to the applicable license terms.
YouTube has its own copyright dispute and counter-notification procedures. ToonVexa cannot guarantee that a claim or strike will automatically be removed, but we can provide relevant purchase and license information where appropriate.
⚖️ How to Handle a Copyright Claim or Strike
1️⃣ Check the Reason for the Copyright Action
First, open YouTube Studio and review the copyright notification.
Check:
- Name of the claimant
- Content that has been claimed
- Video affected
- Type of copyright action
- Any instructions provided by YouTube
Carefully review the information before submitting a dispute or counter notification.
2️⃣ Keep Your ToonVexa License Certificate Ready
If you purchased the asset from ToonVexa.com, keep the following documents available:
- ToonVexa License Certificate
- Purchase invoice
- Order ID
- Purchase email
- Product name
- Relevant product/license information
Your license documentation can help establish that you obtained the asset from an authorized source and may have permission to use it according to the applicable license.
Example License Statement
“The Licensee is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to use, modify, and adapt the purchased Product in permitted personal and commercial projects, subject to the applicable ToonVexa License Terms. Redistribution, resale, sharing, or re-packaging of the original or modified file as a standalone digital asset is prohibited.”
The exact rights granted to you depend on the license associated with your purchase.
3️⃣ Submit a YouTube Dispute or Counter Notification
If you believe a copyright action was made incorrectly and you have valid authorization, follow the instructions provided by YouTube.
You can access YouTube’s official copyright information and counter-notification process through YouTube Help.
When submitting a dispute or counter notification, provide accurate information and explain why you believe you have the necessary rights or authorization.
Do not submit a counter notification if you are unsure about your legal rights or if your use of the content does not comply with the applicable license.
4️⃣ Example Explanation for YouTube
You may use the following as a starting point and modify it to accurately describe your situation:
Dear YouTube Team,
I have received a copyright claim/strike concerning content used in my video.
I purchased the relevant digital asset from ToonVexa and have a valid license for the permitted use of the asset. I have also retained my purchase invoice/order information and ToonVexa License Certificate.
The asset was used in accordance with the applicable license terms. I am requesting that the copyright action be reviewed based on the authorization and supporting documentation available to me.
I can provide the relevant purchase and license documentation if required.
Thank you for reviewing my request.
Important: Only submit statements that are true and accurate for your particular situation.
📧 Handling a Copyright Claim Received by Email
If you receive a copyright-related email from YouTube:
1️⃣ Identify the Claim
Review the email carefully and note:
- Your affected video
- Claimant’s name
- Type of copyright action
- Case/reference information, if provided
- YouTube’s instructions
Do not rely solely on an email address or message claiming to be from YouTube. When possible, verify the notice directly inside your YouTube Studio account.
2️⃣ Collect Your ToonVexa Documents
Keep copies of:
- License Certificate
- Invoice
- Order ID
- Purchase confirmation
- Product page information
- Relevant license terms
These documents may help establish your authorization.
3️⃣ Contact ToonVexa Support
If you believe the claim concerns a ToonVexa asset that you legitimately purchased, contact us.

🛡️ Important License Conditions
Purchasing a ToonVexa asset does not mean that the buyer owns the underlying copyright.
Unless your specific license says otherwise:
- The license gives you permission to use the asset according to its terms.
- Intellectual-property rights remain with the original creator/licensor.
- You must not resell the original digital asset as a standalone product.
- You must not redistribute or share the original files with others.
- You must not upload the original asset to another marketplace as a downloadable asset.
- Your use must comply with the license applicable to your purchase.
⚠️ Important Notice
A ToonVexa License Certificate is evidence of the license associated with your purchase, but it does not automatically guarantee that YouTube will remove a copyright claim or strike.
Copyright disputes are handled according to YouTube’s procedures and applicable copyright law.
If you receive a counter-notification or legal notice, provide only truthful information. If you are uncertain about your legal rights or the appropriate response, consider obtaining advice from a qualified legal professional.

Why the Claim is False
I am the lawful licensee of this asset. I purchased this “[bundle or Asset]” directly from Toonvexa, the original creator and rights holder.
I hold a valid commercial license and invoice issued by Toonvexa (attached).
The claimant, [claimant channel name], is not the copyright owner of this material and has no legal authority to submit DMCA takedowns for Toonvexa-owned/licensed content.
The disputed use in my video involves a [thumbnail, clip, scene or background] created from the purchased [bundle or Asset]. This is fully covered under my commercial license terms.
Issue with Counter-Notification
When the video was removed, YouTube Studio did not provide me with a Counter-Notification option. Because of this, I was unable to file the required legal response through the normal process.
I am therefore submitting this request with full documentation attached, to demonstrate my valid license and to confirm that the claimant’s strike is false and unauthorized.
Evidence Attached
- Invoice and License PDF issued by Toonvexa.
- Screenshot of Toonvexa product page.
- Screenshots of project file/timeline and file metadata proving asset origin.
- Screenshot of copyright claim notice in YouTube Studio.
Requested Action
- Please review the attached documentation and confirm that the claimant (claimant channel name) is not the valid rights holder.
- Reinstate my removed video and remove the false copyright strike.
- If you require any additional legal statement or declaration, please confirm the exact format and I will immediately provide it.
Complaint Against Fraudulent Claimant
Additionally, I request YouTube to investigate the claimant [channel name] for filing a fraudulent copyright takedown.
This claimant is not the copyright owner and is abusing the DMCA process by submitting false strikes on licensed content. Such actions are harmful, misleading, and against YouTube’s Copyright Policy.
I respectfully request YouTube to take necessary action against this claimant’s account to prevent further false claims on other creators.
Good Faith Statement
I declare under penalty of perjury that: I am the licensed user of the disputed content. The claimant does not hold rights to this material. I have provided complete documentation to prove lawful use.
This takedown is causing unnecessary harm to my channel and content. I respectfully request expedited handling and confirmation of reinstatement.
Sincerely,
